ISTAC publishes that 8.3 million overnight stays were recorded in November 2024.

In November 2024, hotel and non-hotel establishments recorded 8.3 million overnight stays, reflecting a 0.93% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This growth was driven by a 0.91% rise in overnight stays by international travelers and a 1.15% increase by Spanish residents.

The number of guests staying in these establishments reached 1,162,210, representing a 2.81% growth compared to November 2023. International travelers increased by 2.91%, while Spanish residents grew by 2.15%. The largest number of travelers came from Great Britain, followed by Germany and Spanish residents.

The occupancy rate stood at an impressive 88.72% for rooms or apartments, with Lanzarote leading the way at 90.67% occupancy.

Regarding revenue, the Average Daily Rate (ADR) was €129.46 per day, while the Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) reached €114.85 per day.

The total revenue generated by hotel and non-hotel establishments amounted to €537.7 million, showing a remarkable 11.46% increase compared to November 2023.

These figures highlight the strong performance of the tourism sector, with growth in both accommodation demand and revenue. Lanzarote stands out as a key destination, reinforcing its appeal to travelers.
