The number of tourists entering the Canary Islands by air in June 2024 was 1,257,228. This represents an increase of 102,304 tourists (+8.86%) compared to the same month in 2023. Tourists resident abroad numbered 1,080,561, 10.42% more than in the same period last year, and those resident in Spain numbered 176,667, 0.21% more in annual rate.

Tourists from the United Kingdom accounted for the highest number of arrivals (507,202), 40.3% of the total number of tourists. They were followed by tourists resident in the rest of Spain (176,667), representing 14.1% of the total, and by those resident in Germany (153,461), accounting for 12.2% of the total number of tourists received.

The island which received the highest number of tourists was Tenerife (522,461), followed by Gran Canaria, with 290,642 tourists.
