The results show a <strong>10.0% increase in the number of trips made by Spanish residents<\/strong>, with a total of 41.7 million trips.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:234\"><strong>Total spending also experienced significant growth, of 18.7%, reaching 12.542 billion euros.<\/strong> <strong>Leisure, recreation, and vacation<\/strong> trips increased the most, by 12.1%, followed by <strong>business and other professional travel<\/strong> (13.7%).<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:247\"><strong>Andalusia, Catalonia, and the Valencian Community<\/strong> were the main destinations, with 16.3%, 12.2%, and 8.7% of total trips, respectively.
