The information collected will be essential for the Government of the Canary Islands and other institutions to plan, evaluate, and implement social policies that benefit the citizens.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:21\"><strong>Who participates?<\/strong><\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:192\">The survey is aimed at people over 18 years old residing in the Canary Islands. 2,400 people will be interviewed each quarter, distributed throughout the territory of the autonomous community.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:24\"><strong>Why is it important?<\/strong><\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:216\">Tourism is a crucial activity for the Canarian economy, but it also has its challenges.
