<strong>17% increase<\/strong> compared to the same month of the previous year.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"27:1-27:173\"><strong>International tourists<\/strong> were the main contributors to this growth, with an increase of <strong>17.23%<\/strong>, while <strong>domestic tourists<\/strong> also experienced an increase of <strong>13.55%<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"29:1-29:194\"><strong>The United Kingdom<\/strong> was the main source country for tourists, with more than <strong>500,000 visitors<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Germany<\/strong> with more than <strong>265,000<\/strong> and <strong>Spain<\/strong> with more than <strong>131,000<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"31:1-31:145\"><strong>Tenerife<\/strong> was the island that received the most tourists, with more than <strong>630,000<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Gran Canaria<\/strong> with more than <strong>450,000<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"33:1-33:143\">In summary, <strong>tourism in the Canary Islands continues to boom<\/strong>, with notable growth in the number of both international and domestic visitors.<\/p><p
