The main destinations considered by the rest of the tourists were: another Canary Islands destination, Greece, another destination in the rest of Spain and Portugal.<\/p><p>92.8% of the visits were for holidays, leisure and entertainment, 1.3% for business and professional reasons, and 5.9% for other personal reasons such as visiting family or friends, education, health reasons.<\/p><p>Tourists stayed mainly in collective establishments (hotels 58.8%, flats 17.3%), but also in private accommodation, such as a rented house or room from a private individual (14%), friends\u2018 or relatives\u2019 houses or their own house or free home exchange (8%).<\/p><p>Tourists stayed mainly in collective establishments (hotels 58.8%, flats 17.3%) and also in private accommodation, such as a house or room rented from a private individual (14%), the home of friends or relatives or their own home or a free home exchange (8%).<\/p><p>31.2% of tourists who visited the Canary Islands in the third quarter of 2024 did so on an all-inclusive basis. The residents of Belgium were the ones who led this type of trip with 37% compared to 12% of the residents of Ireland who were the ones who used all-inclusive travel the least.<\/p><p>The average stay of tourists is 9.2 days. The longest average stay was made by residents in Italy, with 11.44 days, while residents in the rest of Spain had the shortest average stay, with 7.50 days.<\/p><p>64% of tourists had previously visited the Canary Islands.
