This signifies that the year-on-year growth rate has risen for the fifteenth consecutive month.<\/p><p><strong>Tourist Origins: Predominantly International<\/strong><br \/>90% of tourists visiting the Canary Islands in November came from abroad, reflecting a 10.57% rise compared to November of the previous year.<\/p><ul><li>The United Kingdom leads the ranking with 31.5% of visitors, consolidating its position as the main source market.<\/li><li>Germany ranks second, accounting for 19.7% of tourists.<\/li><li>Domestic tourists (residents of Spain) represented 8.5% of the total, an increase of 8.26% compared to 2023.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Tenerife: The Leading Destination for Tourists<\/strong><br \/>Among the islands, Tenerife remains the most visited, welcoming 652,800 tourists, equivalent to 40% of the total. It is followed by Gran Canaria with 27.4% and Lanzarote with 17.3%.<\/p><p><strong>Duration and Purpose of Travel<\/strong><br \/>65% of visitors stayed for 1 to 7 nights, with the primary purpose of travel continuing to be leisure, cementing the Canary Islands as a top destination for vacation tourism.<\/p><p><strong>Bookings and Accommodation<\/strong><br \/>Nearly half of the tourists, 49%, traveled to the Canary Islands using a package deal that includes accommodation and transportation under a single rate.
