Among those who did, the most commonly considered alternatives were other Canary Islands, destinations within mainland Spain, and Greece.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"816\">The data reveals that <strong data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"677\">90.5% of tourists traveled for holidays, leisure, and entertainment<\/strong>, while 2% came for business or professional reasons and 7.5% visited for personal reasons such as family visits, education, or healthcare.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"818\" data-end=\"1117\">In terms of accommodation, <strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"902\">69.1% of tourists stayed in collective establishments<\/strong>, mainly hotels (53.4%) and apartments (15.7%).
